Cottage baker operations: pricing, pantry, pre-orders, markets, labels, tastings and coupons in one place. Pick a cookie below: each keeps its own recipe, hours and label, while stall, travel and payment costs are shared.
Drag the handles or use the arrows to reorder, and untick sections you don't use. Hidden sections keep their data. Changes apply to this device; "Save as default on all devices" makes this layout the starting point everywhere.
How much you bake for one market, and how much of it usually sells. Unsold cookies still cost money, so the sold ones have to cover them.
Enter what you paid for the package, how big the package is, and how much one batch uses, in the same unit (oz, grams, cups, count). If you already know an ingredient's cost per batch, enter that cost as the price and the amount used as both the package size and the amount used.
| Ingredient | Package price | Package size | Used per batch | Unit | Calories per unit | Cost | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Per batch | |||||||
Calories per unit are typical USDA values for one unit as written in the Unit column (one stick, one cup, one egg). Check your packages' Nutrition Facts and adjust if your brands differ.
Count every hands-on hour for the whole market: mixing, baking, cooling, bagging. Pay yourself what you'd need to pay a helper.
Everything that goes on or around a single cookie.
| Item | Cost each | |
|---|---|---|
| Per cookie |
Stall fees, your time behind the table, and a fair share of the gear and paperwork that let you sell at all.
Square, SumUp and similar readers charge a percentage plus a few cents per swipe.
Profit is separate from your wage. It pays for growth, slow days, bad weather and new cutters.
Ingredients are listed from heaviest to lightest by weight, which is how labels have to order them. Weights come from the grams per unit below and the amounts on the Price it tab. Replace the wording with the exact ingredient lists printed on your packages, especially for chocolate chips and flour.
| Ingredient | Per batch | Grams per unit | Weight | Wording on label |
|---|
Florida labels need: product name, ingredients by weight, allergens, net weight, business name and address, and the cottage food statement.
Common baking ingredients with typical supermarket prices, sized in the units bakers measure with. Change a price or package size to match what you pay; changes are kept for all your cookies. Add an ingredient to the cookie selected above, then enter how much one batch uses on the Price it tab.
| Ingredient | Package | Price | Package size | Unit | Per unit | Cal / unit | Allergen |

A ready-made request to paste into Claude or another AI assistant with web search. It lists the ingredients you tick above, or the selected cookie's ingredients if nothing is ticked.
Method, bake details, scaling and printable cards for each cookie. Ingredients and amounts come from Price it; edit them there so costs and labels stay right.
Start a new version before you change a recipe. Tasting feedback records the version people tried, so you can see which change they liked.
What worked, what didn't: humidity, oven hot spots, a new flour brand. Dated and tied to the version.
Everything to weigh for a market day: the batches still to bake (planned in Pantry → Market check, minus bakes already logged), per cookie and in total.
Ingredients and supplies (bags, boxes, labels, ribbon): what you have, what's on the way, and when to buy more. Count everything in the units you buy: bags, pounds, dozens, 100-packs. Grams each lets the app turn recipe cups and sticks into those units. When on hand plus on order drops to the re-order point, the item is flagged and suggested for the order list. Tick items to add them to a supplier's order list, set their supplier, or sort by supplier.
| Ingredient | Buy as | Contents of one | Used | On hand | On order | Re-order at | Order qty | Price each | Supplier | Actions |
|---|
One list per supplier. Tick items in the table above and tap Add to order list, or add everything that's low or short. When you place the order, tap Ordered; the quantities move to On order.
Where you buy. Pick a supplier on each pantry item and its shop link is made for you: a search for that item on the supplier's site.
| Name | Website | Search link | Phone | Notes | Actions |
|---|
Takes each ingredient out of on hand using the recipe's amounts. Undo puts it back.
Pre-orders plus the batches you plan to bake, checked against on hand and on order. Batches already logged for that day are counted as done.
Orders are saved privately with this page: only you, and anyone you make an Editor, can see them. They sync between your devices.
Packaged cookies sold to take home are generally exempt from Florida sales tax. Catering and event orders, cookies eaten on site, and cookies sold with drinks are taxable. Tick this only for those.
Order summary, pickup details and your payment links, ready to paste into a text or email.
Shared by every order. Your payment handles go into the customer message.
Stickers for Munbyn direct-thermal printers at 203 dpi. Thermal prints black only, so everything is drawn in pure black and white.
Sizes are in points as printed. A size you type is used exactly; empty boxes use the automatic size shown in grey, which shrinks to fit when that box is ticked. The cottage food statement never prints below 10 pt.
Logos are converted to black and white for thermal printing. A simple dark logo on a white or transparent background works best. Business name, cell and Instagram come from Order settings and the Customers tab.
Each market's fees stay private. Booked dates show up as pickup choices on orders and in the schedule you share.
A caption for Instagram or Facebook, a short text for your customer list, and a schedule image. Only dates, places and hours are included, never your fees.
Print this QR code for your table. Scanning it opens a text to your cell with a join message filled in, so the customer sends you their number themselves. Add them below when the text comes in.
Only text people who agreed, and take anyone off the list who replies STOP. Sending one text at a time from your own phone is simplest; bulk texting apps have their own consent rules.
Four story posts for one market week, made from your menu, market dates and brand. Post each on the day shown. Share opens your phone's share sheet so you can pick Instagram, Facebook or TikTok; the caption is copied so you can paste it. Add your own music inside the app you post to.
Posts only reach some of your followers. A text reaches the people who asked to hear from you. Each Text button opens your messages app with the note filled in and their first name added; you press send. Only people who agreed to texts are listed.
Texts go out one at a time from your own phone, so nobody sees anyone else's number. Take anyone off the list who replies STOP.
Hand your phone to the taster. Taster mode hides everything else on the page (orders, customers, prices) until you press and hold the exit button. Each card is saved privately.
For samples people take home. The QR opens a text to your cell with questions filled in, and they answer in their own words. Uses the cell number from the Customers tab.
Paste into Claude or another assistant, or into Google Sheets or Excel to chart it. Names and phone numbers are left out; comments are included as written.
Comments from tasters who said you could share them. Tick the ones you want to post; they're quoted exactly as written. Ticked comments also scroll across your website, signed with the stars and the cookie only, never a name.
Everything your tax preparer asks for, in spreadsheets they can use. Market sales from the Sales tally are saved as income automatically, day by day. Pantry deliveries you mark as received become expenses; booked market fees and mileage can be included from Markets.
Market-day sales and picked-up pre-orders are already counted from the Sales tally, so don't add them here.
Income is counted on the day it was rung up in the Sales tally; pre-order deposits count when the order is picked up. Tax lines follow the usual Schedule C mapping for a home bakery. They're a starting point, not tax advice; confirm with your tax preparer. Keep receipts, and keep a real mileage log if you deduct miles.
Export any list, download a blank template, or import a file. Imports only add new rows and update matching ones, change only the columns in the file, and never delete anything. You see a preview first, and Undo is on the message afterwards.
Your logo, app icon, name and the words search engines and link previews show. Saved with the page and used on the header, menu board, menu and schedule images, and labels.
Pick a colorway or set your own brand colors. The app works out the lighter, darker and dark-mode shades for you and keeps text readable. Override any single color under Fine-tune.
Each color starts from what the app worked out. Change one to override it; Auto puts it back.
Sell more than cookies? Change the word the app uses everywhere (buttons, menus, messages, posts and labels), and group your menu into categories. Names you gave your recipes never change.
How each group is counted and sold. Suggestions fill in from the name; change anything.
Know a baker who'd use this? When a baker you refer subscribes, they get $10 off their first year and you get a free month, up to 12 a year. Credits start when BakersKeep opens to other bakers; your code is saved now. Every message below says it's a referral, as the FTC asks when you get something for recommending a product.
Partners (market managers, baking teachers and schools, bakers' groups, bloggers) earn 30% of each referred baker's first year in cash. Bakers earn free months. Nothing is tracked on this device; the checkout credits the code.
A simple public website for your customers: your menu, where to find you, how to pre-order, and privacy and terms pages. Export website saves three files (index.html, privacy.html, terms.html). Upload all three to the same GitHub Pages repository, Netlify or any web host. Export again whenever your menu or dates change.
The privacy policy and terms are plain-language templates filled in from your settings. They're a sensible starting point for a small cottage bakery, not legal advice; have a lawyer review them if you sell online, ship, or collect more than names, numbers and orders.
One banner across your menu board, order screen and website: a sale, holiday hours, a new flavor, or a cause you support. It shows only between its dates, then disappears by itself.
Already have a website on Squarespace, Wix or WordPress? Paste these pieces into it. They're plain HTML and CSS with no script, so they work on every plan, including Squarespace Basic. When you change your menu, dates or testimonials, copy and paste again.
Where to paste: Squarespace: add a Code block, set it to HTML. Wix: Add, Embed code, Embed HTML. WordPress: a Custom HTML block. The widget takes your site's font and fits its width.
Recipe amounts, methods, versions and notes are trade secrets. The law protects them only if you take reasonable steps to keep them secret, so the app does these for you. (General information, not legal advice.)
Who opened recipes, printed or exported them, and from which device.
This app never sends anything to an AI by itself. Its AI helpers only copy a ready-made prompt for you to paste into Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant, if you choose to.
Turning this off hides them on all your devices. Everything else works the same.
The PIN keeps people who pick up your phone or tablet out of prices, customers and sales. It's a lock on the screen, not encryption: your data is already private to you and anyone you make an Editor on claude.ai. The PIN syncs to all your devices. Forgot it? Tap "Forgot PIN" on the PIN screen; as the page's owner you can clear it.
Your recipes, costs and prices sync to your other devices when the page is open on claude.ai, and a copy stays on each device. Copy this JSON to keep a backup or to move them to another device. To load one, paste JSON into the box and choose Load, or import a .json file.
Replaces every cookie, recipe, ingredient price, cost and label on this device with the example data, on every synced device. Orders, customers, coupons, markets, menu and tasting feedback aren't touched. This can't be undone, so copy a backup first.
You'll lose all your recipes, costs and prices on every synced device. Copy a backup first if you might want them back.
BakersKeep prices your cookies, takes pre-orders with deposits, runs coupons and tastings, books markets, and prints Munbyn thermal labels. The colored tabs are for the stall; everything else is in Admin. Tap any in the app to jump to the matching part of this guide, and any for a business term.

Where data lives. Menu, orders, coupons, markets, customers, feedback and settings are saved privately with the page on claude.ai and sync across your devices. Recipes, prices, the sales tally, checklists and tab layout are saved on each device, so export backups (Export CSV, and Copy JSON on Price it).
Go through it in order, or jump around. Steps the app can check tick themselves; tick the others when you've done them. Each Go takes you to the exact spot.
US fees as published by each vendor in September 2026. Check before signing up; they change.

Tick as you go; "Start a new market day" clears the ticks.
The suggested price covers ingredients, packaging, your wage for kitchen and market hours, stall and travel costs, card and market fees, and your profit margin, spread over the cookies you usually sell (not the ones you bake). The three chalkboard numbers are what covers supplies only, break-even, and the price with your margin.
Every package you sell needs: business name and address, product name, ingredients in descending order by weight, net weight, allergens, and "Made in a cottage food operation that is not subject to Florida's food safety regulations." in at least 10-point type. Use 3×3 or larger for ingredient labels.
